previously on delos! we experience some intense bureaucracy when checking into port blair. the customs officers lock away our sat phone. and we get our first taste of india. it looks like we're ready to go sailing! wooo hoo! and we got some butter chicken ya'll! it's nice and warm. how did it go mates? solid. real good! i'm ready to go swimming. yeah? uggg. it's just so hot and busy and like wah wah beep beep.
port control this is delos on one zero over. we are departing port blair for havlock island. over. yes stand by. what do you think breeyawn? are you ready to go sailing? let's get out of the city man. delos port control. delos. you are leaving now. over. that's correct we're departing the harbor. over. roger. what will be your eta? eta approx 5-6 hours over. roger. thank you, delos standing by on 16. cool! let's go! we've got clearance! we've gone through all the bureaucratic craziness.
of the andaman islands. we've checked in, cleared customs, cleared immigration got fuel, got a sim card, everything we could possibly do. and we will go now. somewhere we can swim. we set out to explore the jewels of the sea. the andamans have 572 islands and only 40 are inhabited permanently. how cool is that? what's all this commotion? that's a small one. yeah look a baby one!
ohhh it's so cute! it's a mom, a dad, and a baby dolphin! oh that was awesome! cute! where are we going karin? over there. you see a little ripple of sand? a good place to chill for a few days hopefully a little bit calmer and some swimming. what are you seeing brady? big beach.... big beach.... is it pretty cool? yeah. lot's of people on the beach.
it should be a really shallow spot off the starboard bow. how far? 0.2 of a mile. the charts here are not very accurate. you don't have much information for depth. just these contour lines that we're trying to figure out what the depth is. hello there fancy people! whoo hooo! holding here at 15! that's good! what'cha cooking? i'm cooking an indian dish. oh really? ala max. some of this.
and i have... with some heinz. yeah she took over so i'll let her finish. no you finish. okay i'll finish. there's a lot of mustard in it. there's onion and there's... what is it called? chicken? it's gonna be good stuff. i'm excited. i'm hungry! no baby voice. hiiiii! so we spent the morning cleaning for about 2 hours. everyone had their specific jobs. and now the boat is super clean. spotless. and now we're going to put the indian, the little sticker flag thing
on the back. and we might go check out the beach. who wants to stick 'em on flag? yes. what's up? is the green up or the yellow up? well good question. i did the flag and i don't know. he he. the green is on the bottom. ok, now we know. pubic hair! yep. that is definitely a pube hair. so somewhere here?
ahhh. that's where it goes. ahhh okay. sweet! we made it to india. nice one. it was crazy hot and we hadn't swam in what felt like months. we were officially cruising india so it was time to spend a day drinking on the beach. hi! you're looking real keen there rama. i'm really excited to go check out the beach. are you? yep. what are you doing? i'm making our first batch of scobe... i mean alcohol kombucha. but it's carbonated and it's sweet and tangy so it's kind of like a...
ginger beer or something. so it's not really helping our bodies well maybe it is. maybe it's balancing things out. during our passage to port blair we watched this awesome old documentary about the andaman islands. it got us really excited about this place and it was on our mind as we cruised through these jewels of the sea. the andaman islands jewels of the sea emerald green sea water, blue sky, white clouds. and just look at this sand! absolutely perfect! jewels of the sea!
this place was exactly what we were looking for. amazing white sand, and refreshing clear water. but right as we started to dig into brady's homemade kombucha hoocha some very official looking officers approached us. even here the bureaucracy of india was in full effect and they insisted on seeing our official boat papers. as they weren't too keen to swim out to maggie to go and fetch our boat papers they eventually gave up. and we continued our beach day. brady even found this baby octopus hiding in a shell. too cool! does it need to be
in the water? i think he was holding onto these glasses i have on my head. the next day we did a short sail to inglis island. man we really need to check weather now. and for that we need the iridium go. and since our iridium go sat phone had been locked away by the indian customs we decided to take to some drastic measures. so karin here is gonna help us out with that. how do we do this? it's sealed up? no, go through the drawer to the right. what this one? um hm.
see that hole up there? in the top? yes. stick your arm in there. get the small arm in there. oh man i hope you can get in there. oh yeah! yeah!! nice! look what i found. the battery is in there too somewhere. okay! now we can check weather. what's going on dudes? making some music and apparently there is millions of jellyfish. here so we need to check it out. feast jellyfish there's poop.
look! wow, how crazy is that? it's like a you know, it stretches out like really far away too. that's insane. look at all of them. there's little baby ones too. why do you think they're here. i think, i don't know. i think it's a season for it. i think they're all gonna die at once. cause this morning i only saw a few. and it's been increasing and increasing now it's just like covered. full. i reckon only for a few more weeks and they're all gonna die of disappear somewhere else. it's like a stream taking them here or something. awesome answer frida. i couldn't have said it better myself. we should try and catch one. what did you do? we caught a yelly fish.
yeah put your hand in there and we can see if it stings you. they won't really hurt though aye, they'll just give you a little bzzz. i don't think they're deadly here. no we would be told if they were deadly or we would have read about it. it's not a box jelly fish. what a weird swimming in that if nothing stings you. all this sliminess on you. no, they don't sting! brian decided to take the chance and jumped in. they were totally harmless but it was still a bizarre feeling swimming through all of them feeling their spongy bodies bouncing
into you from all directions. there's squid off the side of the boat. and we've had these squid lures on the boat for like ages and have never tried them. so we're gonna throw it over and see what happens. oh yeah he's coming for it! holy shit i got em'! really? here hold this i gotta get a bucket so he doesn't ink on us. i'll get it. i'll get it. look at them they're like crazy! got em'! and now what? wow! ha ha oh no. okay this is a big one. look at that eye! oh my god. ready we need another bucket. just chuck 'em in bro.
grab another bucket. he's a feisty one. woo once you start to cut 'em that's when they ink so be careful. (screaming) babs! babs! what happened babs? is it on my face? yeah it's all over your face. i caught the last tentacle thingy off you should wash that off. yeah i'm grabbing the hose. woooww. it's a pretty good size one. we've never caught squid before. it's really great. how many did we get? i think 7. just bagging up. we got quite a bit here. it's at least a kilo, maybe a kilo and a half. nice!
mega mouth. that's a big one. the tiny bits are moving the tiny dots. you know. it's like living. it looks like living organisms in there. these color changing cells are actually called chromatophores and are small balloon like cells just under the squid skin. a complex array of nerves control the movement and size of the spots. and i think they mostly use this to hide from predators. and this is the spine? really? looks like plastic. how crazy is that? we're approaching north button island. okay, i'm gonna go check out to see
if there's any shallow spots on the way in for delos. brady do you copy? he might be too far away now? brady! ahhh. what ever you're saying is breaking up pretty bad. over. brady. do you copy? don't be mean! how's it look in there? yeah, just keep an eye out for bommies because i didn't come in dead ahead of you but as far as deep water it's deep all the way up to where i am. it looks like a real beautiful spot! yeah. putting the anchor in karin?
yes. it's time! very soon. we're just gonna go a little bit further in towards brady and maybe slightly to starboard. yeah that's good! one, two, three! how's it going with the squid guys? we're going good. cutting it into rings. then we're gonna marinate it. and then deep fry that shit! got them all chopped up and marinating. see the rings right here? look at that! that's right, that's fresh squid marinating in the soy and suger. and we've got the tentacles right here which is marinating in lemon
juice but they're still quite sticky. what are you going to do with those? eat them raw. eat 'em raw? yeah just take some egg on it..... yep, and then you can eat them raw. nice! boom! yum. this looks awesome you guys. oh it's fantastic! did you try any super sauce? yeah it's good. oh i want to try some of that. get it in there! ahhh. ummm! is it good? really good! max and i set up a very small fire. so we're heading in on a full moon night to the bitch.
to the bitch. full moon bitch. somebody remembered the red wine right? yep. i've got the goon. we've got red wind and kombucha hoocha. one, two, everybody! keep order here. keep order i say! so you need to come here and watch the fire we've built. oh yess!! so this is the bad boy. look at this man. it's gonna be gnarly man. oh yeah! stay very far back everybody! go! yeah baby! that's what i'm talking about! whew it's hot!
look at how big that flame is! who brought this guy? brady just leave it. brady get your f**cking foot out of the fire. we did it! we've got fire, kombucha hoocha, which is a mix of kombucha and homemade delos liquor. full moon. i think we've found it. we've done well team. we found the india. we found india, welcome to the andaman islands! the next morning we tried to call port control again for our daily position report. max tried yesterday without any luck. sorry where have i come. have i come to the port control?
soooo yeah we can't get ahold of port control and we need to check in two times a day. we didn't check in last night and we can't do it now. but today we seemed to have a better connection. delos! delta echo lima oscar sierra. please go ahead sir good morning. ah good morning. we are anchored at north button island. our position is one two degrees one eight decimal eight five north, zero nine three degrees zero three decimal nine four east over. okay sir, you are now anchored north button island.
yes, that is affirmative over. sir what time you anchored at north button? yesterday at one five zero zero. okay copy sir and what is your next how long you going to stay there and when are you likely to depart. ahh we will probably be here for the next approximate two days and possibly depart to barren island. roger, okay delos copy that thank you very much. have a nice day! thank you have a good day bye. good day bye. so guys you're going fishing? boys night out. what are you fishing for. what ever we catch. you look really ready
we've got beers, we've got lures. we're told if we come back with a fish then we get blow jobs. what? i wasn't told told that. i was told that! cause your girlfriend is sick. your girlfriend is sleeping. she'll realize it when you get back. with a fish. hey look what i got! okay, we'll see you when we get a fish. so maybe two weeks we come back. or we'll go to the port blair market and buy one. good luck. do everything to come back with one. see you guys later! bye. unfortunately it wasn't a fish. the lure was stuck
on the bottom. so did you get anything? did you catch any fish? no blowjobs. ahhh. we drank all our beers though. yeah. and we lost a lure on the reef. we caught a reef. you guys! port blair radio, port blair radio this is sailing vessel delos over. yeah who is calling port blair? port blair radio this is sailing vessel delos do you copy. over. delos! good morning maam! good morning sir. um. we're just calling into report our position. we are still in the same location twelve degree eighteen decimal eight five north, nine three
degrees zero three decimal nine one east. north button island over. yeah maam copy. you are at north button island. and what is your further intention? when will you depart from north button island. please. we will be here for the afternoon and we are planning to leave for barren island this evening over. okay, no problem. when dropping anchor there at barren island you please give a call okay? okay, we will do so. thank you very much and have a good day. over. thank you same to you maam! okay bye bye. before departing for
barren island we decided to go for a small dive and retrieve the lure that got stuck on the reef. yesterday. jackpot! it was an easy, relaxing dive with quite a few fish. but unfortunately the coral had gotten quite damaged by the big earthquake and tsunami that happened here a few years back. in some areas the reef was even pushed up about two meters. and on our way home our newly retrieved lure got a hit. it was a baby one so we threw him back.
but brian still wanted his reward. do i still get my blow job? no! you didn't catch it? what do you mean? some of you might be wondering how we all get along being 7 people in such a small space. so every sunday we have something called the love circle. where we all sit together, no cameras, no judgements, and everyone get's to say what's on their mind. i think we've had our sixth , seventh or something love circle. so we started with that from the beginnng. since we're 7 people. um living together in a small space it's good to be able to say things and how what you feel and how things are going and bring up things you want to talk about
i think it's really good. people bring up things, we talk about videos, we talk about if we use too much water, um. just things. stuff like that. and it's awesome. and the weeks fly by so quickly anyway and you know you don't want things to gather up. and it's easy. then you have all 7 around the table and they can take just take everything at once so that's really good. now we're at button island and we're sailing during the night to go to barren island. so we just divided our night shift, our night watch. so now i'm going to go prepare. because it's going to be my night watch. good night! up next! we anchor next to
a live volcano. it's a volcano island and it's smoke coming out! do some amazing diving! the boys finally catch a fish. and delos gets covered in ashes. is it bombie? bombie? no. need to keep safe out here okay. maybe i farted. oh did you fart? oh man, what are you guys doing in here? i'm telling you it's like these eggs. yeah is like a big **cking fist coming in to punch you in the face. was it you josje? yeah it was me. it's all natural in here.
