pros captain greg snyder and captain ed zyak catching some real big snook then we take it up to the space coast where we debut our flats pink rod with our first lady angler guest but first we got captain pat dineen we are fishing the pan handle on a nasty day and we are catching what pat calls panhandle permit they pull real hard and one of us gets spooled check this out look at the size of that school dude i think theres a fish in there or two yeah go ahead that didnt take long [laughing] all jackies
yup look how big that school is bro that is a moster school i think they are going this way how is your line holding up it is diminishing powered by a three hundred yamaha and two fifteen pound jack crevalles uh oh yeah in fact its looking very uh oh should i crank uh do that or speed up yeah its gone
oh well i tried to get you up there well he was a little quicker than we were im feeling a little lethargic in this cold weather this guy ought to keep me warm whats that a bigger reel yeah this is a thirty five i think im gonna go find another rod yeah there ya go i think i got another spool back in the truck [laughing] im gonna upgrade to a bigger rod aw it makes it much more fun with the little guys except they tend to take all your
line away you know pat when i was a kid we use to have schools like this come in the banana river and inevitably you would hook these things and do exactly the same thing that just happened to you [laughing] cause i was in a jon boat and i never could get my motor cranked quick enough to chase them [laughing] ill tell you what when a school of jacks start pushing down the beach you know they are coming cause every little bait fish is on the run that was cool what was it ballyhoo showering come on mr jack mr yellow submarine pat have you ever eaten a jack crevalle
nope have you believe it or not i have they dont make bad sushi you got to be real hungry for them though the meat is pretty dark yeah you really cant see the blood line in them nope hes trying to get back down to the bottom he is we had pretty steady action this morning the money fish
hey little buddy whats your name mr jack mr jackie crevalle hes saying hello to ya hes saying leave us alone go catch some redfish thats a beauty he might leave a mark if you let him get closer quit pestering us underrated pound for pounds strongest fish that swims in the atlantic or the gulf its probably a good thing they arent good to eat there would be less of them [laughing] well i wont make that comment again yall stay tuned we are gonna be right back with some more addictive fishing and hopefully show you some big ole redfish
(play it) addictive fishing is brought to you by dicks sporting goods every season starts at dicks skeeter boats engineered like no other wright and mcgill never compromise and by minn kota anywhere anytime rolling it slow well a little bit different water than this morning huh yeah oh gah dang you see it oh nice knot oh here he comes here he comes but that was fun i love seeing all those tarpon jumping one you know having a
few bites well we are gonna see if this place here will pay off like it did well we will keep that a secret we will see if it happens today yeah well this is a good area what all do you got down here well this is an old oyster bed and the oysters are all dead now but its scattered out over about a hundred yard area and there is a lot of rubbel from the old bridge that use to be here so when we got done tarpon fishing and they stopped rolling this is a great place to come suns up this is deeper water plenty of structure and plenty of food
for those fish on this falling tide so if there is a big one to be caught hes probably around here lets hope so and im tired of throwing at those tarpon and having them not eat [laughing] a man can only take so much there he is come on baby good fish thats a real good fish oh yeah thats a good head shake there brother
oh come on you want to pull us away from the bridge a little cause hes gonna go when he figures out good fish oh yeah thats a real good fish im just gonna ease us on out of here ok easy easy easy he just woke up come on baby come on out im just gonna keep easing us out blair alright sometimes you can get them coming with ya and get them out of that danger zone shes coming get over the tower lets get a look lets get a look
i know i cant wait to see it oh theres a boil that looked like a volkswagen boil [laughing] oh i saw a glimpse i saw a knot i know we are close i saw the tail its a big one i want to see it it is a big one brother its giving this seven six a work out oh yeah oh we are so close to seeing it this water is so nasty what did you say that big sugar from okeechobee dumps all
their crap water yeah we got a lot of dirty water on us right now oh here we go you ready for a look this is the time we are going to see him yeah baby forty inch [laughing] thats a grown one bro shes mad nice fish you want to hold him
i want to hold this baby you got to catch him i want to hold him i loved your technique with the bait buster kinda casual just letting it sink just let it sit on the bottom and give it a twitch off doing it old school with the old bait buster ok lets get one shot ohh there she goes look at her off she goes awesome man thats a heck of a start for the morning huh thats crazy to be honest with you guys we were fishing here yesterday with captain greg snyder
good friends with ed the doa crowd and i caught the biggest snook of my life so we are going to come back here today and we are going to see if we can top that snook we have already been out this morning for tarpon hooked a couple of those around back up in the river and couldn't get one of those to show you so we are gonna show you a bunch of big snook right here from stuart with captain ed zyak yall stay tuned well they dont want mullet heads so a little different water than you are use to fishing in huh yeah pretty much im not really an inshore kind of girl i normally fish offshore and i fish out of boynton beach florida
not too much redfishing down there either huh no not really i have not even seen one redfish in my area they are just not there and i havent had the opportunity to catch one so im looking forward to it you are about to see the worlds largest redfish or where they live anyway hopefully we can get you one on the line since you aint never caught one perfect that would be awesome today so all we are looking for is just a little ripple kinda look like those black drum this morning except these fish are gonna be like this big ok
and all youre gonna see is just a little push right can you see right there its a funny little bump right up there next to that wind rip actually i do see it alright lets see what happens here hang on to that one there these big mullet are kind of tough to toss you can rip your finger with that braided line ive done it a million times step back over here theres a giant one right there see him right there
yeah bring yours in fast fast fast as fast as you can here get this one hes on good job whoa i see him thats awesome just hang on and let him run lets see if we can do a double here nice fish on baby woo glad we hit him before the storm hes not gonna stop thats a real one brother or should i say thats a real one sister [laughing]
yeah there you go i think you got a grown one there darcie just hang on there i think so too how much line to you got left these are the only redfish in the world that you have to chase ok are you serious yeah sometimes we got to oh yeah you got you a grown one look at that wake back there ok just start reeling
hes running he will be coming back to us yeah a decent amount is off there well you know this is the debut of the pink rod right yes i don know that and this rod is awesome [laughing] i just totally feel the backbone in this rod while im bringing it up to help me reel in this fish its pretty cool well when the rod designer from wright and mcgill asked me what i want to see in a rod i said make the tip of it very light cause we cast those little tiny shrimp like
we were casting at those black drum this morning right i said make the middle of it a little bit stiffer and finally make the butt of it like an old fenwick i used to use fenwick rods when i was a kid growing up and they had just a great great butt action to them they were real stiff yup and when the rod designer put that blank in my hands i said im in love im done im done beautiful fish oh yeah i see it big fish
you said you wanted a what starts with an m ends with an n [laughing] a mogan redfish ok walk her on around the front here whoa look at that fish uh oh where is she going ok just walk her around the front of the boat hold it down you are good come right around the front ok come over my head there she is you have yourself an indian river mogan redfish how is that look at that fish oh my god that is a massive red
[laughing] ok slide just a bit so i can get this hook out easy baby we are gonna let you go you are darcies first there you go how is that gorgeous look at that fish nice awesome awesome fish it has been so long since i have been up here catching these guys glad you got to come up here with me and catch it yes thank you awesome that is one beautiful fish darcie thank you very much captain blair or should we say darcizzle if you go to her facebook page go check it out its under
darcizzle darcizzle offshore darcizzle offshore shes got some pretty cool shots alright darcie if you would turn the trolling motor on high and just take it straight forward i got to get some water through this fishes gills alright hes starting to chew on my finger and when you get a redfish this size starting to chew on my finger darcie go ahead and turn that off come right down here you get to release it alright pretty fish huh
gorgeous fish there she went beautiful nice fish well what do you think of your first redfish thank you very much captain blair it was amazing catching my first red and my first black drum today definitely cool and it appeared on the new flats pink by wright and mcgill an awesome rod [laughing] well that about wraps it up from the indian river here my home town darcizzle and its darcizzle offshore on facebook correct
darcizzle offshore go check out her facebook page some killer pictures up there and like her she is a public figure we will see yall later see ya play it addictive fishing is brought to you by doa lures the unfair advantage humminbird simply clearly better trokar the worlds sharpest hooks and by star brite the world wide leader in marine automotive and rv care products rig it right by wright and mcgill how you doing folks captain blair wiggins here im gonna show you what i think has to
be the most awesome feature of the humminbird unit today its the three sixty we have it deployed we came back in the canal systems here because theres a lot of snook and redfish and the fish we like to catch hang around these docks and the only way previously to know if they were there is to fish them and spend lots of time nowadays i deploy my three sixty down and if you see each of these pilings here they are showing up on my three sixty those are fish right there that little white little line is a fish in there no telling what kind of fish it is but at least you know that there is a fish down there to try and fish for as we come down the side of the bank here you can see the sea wall right here and in between the boats here you can see that sea wall and you can see each one oft he pilings
that are down and matter of fact that line right there is showing the back of those boats when we get up here to these big boats you will see the back of the boat really good but if there were fish in here there would be just a bunch of little white lines around the pilings in here if i was tournament fishing right now i would probably not fish any of these docks in here cause im not seeing anything down here that tells me that there is redfish down there the humminbird three sixty unit whether you are inshore or offshore this is the best unit i have ever seen in my life i highly recommend you try one of these cause you will be watching this tv instead of the one on your couch well welcome back folks we were gonna go off shore and try to show you some off
shore stuff here in stuart but mother nature has other plans for us today so we are gonna kinda pitch what we use to do many moons ago yup and it works kinda doggin the innlet and maybe go dog the roosevelt a little bit later but hopefully gonna show you some inshore snook here hes got the terror eyez and i got the shrimp on and gonna see which one works out best and hopefully show you a bunch of fish there we go uh oh golly a crazy snook
i guess its time to go to the terror eyz whoa easy buddy this thing is going insane he thinks he is a lot bigger than he is goodness gracious [laughing] well thats a snookie we were hoping to get offshore and show you guys some cobia but mother nature has got them big ole thunder heads up there so we are gonna show you a bunch of inshore fish today and hopefully show you a bunch of these guys today see that one right there you were asking that one right there is probably a four year old snook thats about the average size of a four year old snook it kind of all depends
on what hes been eating and his diet but thats a good looking healthy snook we have been talking about what happened back in twenty ten with the freeze and the snook and it killed so many snook and its just good to see all those fish coming back like that its just really neat well i hope you all enjoyed todays show we call bits and bites i had a blast catching all those fish and it just would have been a shame leaving all those fish laying on the cutting room floor that about wraps it up for todays show dont forget about the website addictive fishing dot com and if you ever missed an episode of addictive fishing you can go to youtube and punch in addictive fishing we got fourteen years worth of video
